Strength

Welcome to challenge number one in the 10-week challenge! Mixing illustration, rap and lyric writing, the first two challenges are guaranteed to get you feeling more upbeat. All you need is a pen, some paper and your phone or a clock to time yourself. Good luck!

Challenge 1: Try this

Write your name in the middle of the page. Now, set a timer for five minutes and illustrate, drawing little pictures, on the page around your name – taking inspiration from your strengths and positive characteristics, your favourite things, your interests and the people you love. Add colours if you can.

Challenge 2: Try this

Watch the video challenge and explore what strength means to you. In this challenge, you’ll jot down words and create new rhymes. You’ll be shown how to use rhymes to create an 8-bar verse all about strength, and rap your words along to an instrumental beat.
