Welcome to Challenge no.7, which celebrates community through a quick-write and poetry challenge. Set the timer, roll a dice, pick the words and put pen to page, then get inspired by Japanese poetry and write a Haiku poem.
Pick one word from each of the lists in the video. If you have one, use a dice to help you choose. Start a timer for 3 minutes and write a short story or motivating message that incorporates the three words chosen. Good luck!
Join performance poet and producer Nasima in this mini challenge and write a Haiku poem, a short form of traditional Japanese poetry. Haiku poems are made up of 3 short lines and each line has a specific number of beats per word (syllables). Watch the video and give it a go.
